When Maria met her husband, he was lending his soccer skills to win her a match. As the day went along, they spent more time together at a party and watched The Lion King. Before they knew, their affection had blossomed into a full-blown romance.

But their romance was short-lived. Hazem was moving to a new city to find a job so they mutually agreed on a breakup. Eventually, Hazem was back in Waterloo and they rekindled their relationship.

Now, they just had one more thing to consider: Hazem is Muslim and Maria is Christian. Today, we hear about how Hazem & Maria have worked through their experience and aftermath of their romance.
